Graphic Design Influences: Brody & Hori

The work of Neville Brody was a strong, early influence when I was studying graphic design as an undergraduate student. His book The Graphic Language of Neville Brody still has a prominent place in my design library. I haven't been to his website, Research Studios in some time. It seems to house a much more complete body of his work that I remember being there in the past. A lot truly great work.

Allen Hori was a student at Cranbrook Academy while I was at CCS in Detroit. The work he did while a student there (often featured in Emigre magazine) is still some of my favorite and the most interesting work I've ever seen.
