Secrets and Confessions

Secrets... The final frontier.

I've seen these outdoor ads in New York subways. Secret deodorant is doing their take on secrets and confessions.

Within the context of consumer-generated content is getting increasingly difficult to create "real people" campaigns. To tell you the truth I haven't been able to pull myself away from YouTube confessions long enough to take a good look at the Secret site.

I dont know what is more disappointing, the fact that this is a complete rip off of Frank Warren's well known project PostSecret and subsequent book, or the fact that you are giving Secret deodorant credit for the difficulty in creating "real people" campaigns. Stealing is tough stuff.

There's a new multimedia portal for revealing secrets and confessions anonymously called ( It includes text postings, videos, and a photo gallery.

In addition, members can join or create various groups, start a discussion in the forum, or ask for advice or give advice.

Definitely worth a look!
