The Snicker's campaign got me thinking about subverted and parodied logos. I mentioned that Rave culture and Subvertising are rich sources for these. I spent a little time online looking for examples and found a few but not the quantity and quality I was hoping for. I've seen some really great ones over the years. If anyone has any good examples they would like to forward me, it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to put together a nice collection and feature them on the site.
Here is a gallery of what my initial search turned up.
There were some excellent examples in the exhibit and book Mixing Messages.
Not to be overlooked, the early pioneers of (pop) cultural graphic subversion, Wacky Pack.
