Wet Brain Wit & Wisdom

Dewarisms, sounds like a slurred mispronunciation by someone with Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome but is actually Bacardi USA's latest campaign for Dewars. It suposedly ressurects tidbits of wisdon from Sir Thomas Dewars.

It would probably be a lot more fun campaign if the quotes were from a slurring, inapropriate, wet-brained alcoholic.
Can you image junk like: "if it weren't for their boobies, we'd hunt em." Or maybe a consumer-generated campaign inviting American Indians to talk about the impact of whiskey on their people.

The "spirits" category is probably the one with the biggest gap between romanced promise and ugly reality.

I am reminded of Jeff Koon's Luxury and Degredation series.
