I was at a diner party this eveninf and picked up the book pictured below. I really dig the playful pitting of concepts against one another using basic mathematic symbols.
The author of New Math it turns out works with some friends at a NY ad agency.
I'm reminded a bit of the conceptual art of the 60's (in my view one of the most overlooked parts of 20th centuary art along with the body art of people like Burden and Acconci).
I am also reminded of the Concrete Poetry. Below, "Silence" by Eugen Gomringer.
