Nike pulls Hyperdunk ads amid criticism
BEAVERTON, ORE. (AP) -- Nike said Friday it would pull its ads for its Hyperdunk basketball shoes, responding to criticism that they fed homophobic views.

hm... with the exception of "That ain't right" (and even that's a stretch), I'm unclear on where the homophobia is. Seems the exact opposite. Maybe the people who criticized have some issues to work out.

I agree and hence the title of my post. Companies fold and buckle over the slightest, even unwarranted criticisms.
